- Prints: Each print is handmade to order, so no two prints are exactly the same. Ink & Keys uses high quality fade-resistant pigment-based inks to replicate a traditional turn-of-the-century typewriter style or 18th century style penmanship. Each print then undergoes a special multi-staged process for a realistic vintage look.
- Unframed Prints: Unframed prints are affixed to a rigid backing board for easy mounting in your own frame. If you would like to be able to fold your print or omit the backing for any reason, please contact us for a custom order.
- Frames: Every frame is handmade using the wood from already fallen trees in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Appalachia.

Please note, our pictures are taken without glass in the frame so you can pick up on the beautiful glare-free detail of the print, but be assured glass will be installed in each of our framed pieces before shipping.

Using the "Custom Text" dropdown, there are three ways to send us your custom text.
- File Upload: This is the best way to send us your custom text to preserve text layout. Please upload PDF or JPEG files for the best result. Sending Word documents (i.e. .docx files) may not preserve the correct layout.
- Adding a link: This is best for already published works (poetryfoundation.org has an extensive catalog). Works must be in the public domain to avoid copyright infringement.
- Adding text manually: Typing or "copy-and-pasting" text into the provided box does not preserve text layout. This method is ok for a block of text that doesn't require specific formatting.
PROOFING PROCESS

We provide a print proof with all custom orders to confirm text layout.
- You can expect your print proof in 1-2 business days (Order with rush processing will be provided as soon as possible).
- You'll receive an email asking you to review the proof. Please check Spam/Junk if you did not receive it. You'll then have the option to approve the proof or request changes. Please review your proof as soon as possible.
- PLEASE NOTE: If after 3 attempts at reaching you without response, we will move ahead with your order as-is and returns will not be permitted.
- Once proof has been approved, your print will then move on to the production stage. You'll receive another email once your order has shipped.
Copyright Compliance

We take copyright infringement seriously. Customers who request works that might not be in the public domain will receive a separate waiver form to fill out and sign confirming you have the permission to reproduce the work requested.
This waiver form will be sent to your inbox from "Ink & Keys Customer Support.
Once signed, you will receive a copy of the waiver for your records.

Standard Processing: All of our pieces are handmade to order and will ship out in 3 business days.
Rush Processing: If you need your piece delivered in a hurry, we recommend selecting "Rush Processing". If you order before 5PM EST, we will have your order ready to ship the following business day. Please also consider purchasing upgraded shipping at checkout to ensure you receive your order in time.

Once you narrow down which processing & shipping speeds you need, be sure to use those when checking out. The estimator tool will not change your processing or shipping for you.

Custom Order Sales Are Final
Custom orders do not qualify for our 30 Day Return Policy. However, if your item is damaged, or there is an inherent defect in your order, we'll be happy to replace it.

18th Century Penmanship
The romantic choice. Want to recreate a love letter lost from a bygone era? This is your font.
While beautiful, legibility is not always its strong suit. Penmanship is best suited for shorter texts.
Prints showcasing our 18th Century Penmanship Font faithfully evoke the essence of historic letters, be they formal or sentimental.
20th Century Typewriter
The legible choice. Preserve the antique look without sacrificing text clarity.
Typewriter font is perfect for long texts or works that require specific text formatting or symbols.

Beverage Ring Stains
No Stain
Selecting "No Stain" only refers to the rings stain in the bottom right corner of the print. The water stained edges will remain.
